How about looking for retired or landlords that has no mortgage and doing a seller financing?

If you're interested, you may be able to find land and build one instead of existing.

Hello All,My name is Derrick and I purchased a duplex and approx. 1 acre of land in Desoto, Texas in June of 2015.

There is really no way to find out unless you can talk to them, but sometimes the landlord doesn't want the tenants to know they're selling.

After approximately 8 months with both of us working full time and with the funds from our house, we had enough saved up to finally close on 2 properties in downtown Denver (we actually built these on foreclosed land, probably more suitable for another post).

I find that most newbie landlords often under price their rentals.
