Most lawyers default to the in rem QT, which requires newspaper advertisement and appointment of a guardian ad litem, which can add an extra $2,000 or so to your expenses. 

Then that go will give back some of the extra profit...Bid rigging is a thing...

It’s just making the vacation a little easier for the guest and they will pay a little extra for that convenience, so you can get a little extra income from the people you are already in contact with.

I spoke to the Brother of the wife ("B"), and discussed the possible situations- Unfortunately after working on the property details and researching the title for the property, I found out that the title belongs to both of them.

This has given time to do some extra digging and I just learned from my realtor today that the extra bed, bath, and kitchen in unit 2 never had construction permits pulled for adding them to the living space.  

The turn over cost will be far more then then the extra 600 a mo...and doubt you're getting your max rent for a unit that someone has lived in for almost 10 years.
