THE JOURNEY OF A PART-TIME REAL ESTATE INVESTORI’m a day late but I left Thursday afternoon with my 8 year old daughter to visit friends in Seattle.

I’d say you’ve got the right mentality.

It has to be from a mental health professional and indicate the diagnosis of the individual. 

Getting to that point will take a lot of time and mental energy and it's highly unlikely that you'll ever collect a dime.

Sadly as the article alluded to, some are inept to do so due to lack of understanding, mental conditions and other factors.  

I wanted to share my worst experience with one of the contractor company, I trust them and suddenly after taking good amount of advance they start making stories like - partner is sick , partner daughter got eye cancer and about to die and partner is in coma etc.But I should say its my bad I trust them.First I complete first project with them and it turned out good, though he was late in that project too but i trust as he made stories of cancer issue with partner daughter.

They ended up moving out to the desert and getting rid of one vehicle, and moving in their daughter and grandkid to afford a house. 

In reality, there will be some mental shuffling going on in that as money gets contributed to my 401k, an equal value of stocks and index funds will no longer be considered part of that untouchable nest egg (dividends and appreciation of the assets within the nest egg stay to keep it growing though). 

I wouldn't want my wife or daughter to have to feel that way either.

We can't really upgrade our mental RAM, we can only eliminate the thoughts that bog it down.
