Why are there any discussions or forums praising or highlighting the "good" lenders for both private money & hard money?

It will go on the mls or one of the national REO auction sites. 

Does anyone know what happens to the money that comes from the difference between the balance on the lien being foreclosed and the highest bid at the auction?

I recently purchased a GREAT deal in a foreclosure auction with a ton of equity up front.

Are there a handful that dominate > 80% of available auctioned houses?

The home was purchased in 2018 for $345,000 from an auction.

That said, my flips have varied in price; buying as low as $110 in wholesale/auction, to paying as much as $500k in Frisco for something that’s about $25/ft below market.

People come on here asking for mentors all the time and it usually seems like they want the mentor to teach them everything they know about something (i.e. flipping, buying at auctions, etc). 

I am focused on these because I heard auctions are normally cash only (not enough cash to purchased) and REO may be marked up by the time they reach a site like Zillow or HAR.com.
