Long story short, her dad took over and I started paying him rent for the room I was in along with some extra for bills and what not. 

@Patrick Ng - if the ad she responded to showed the rent as $50 less than you're expecting, that's a management error.

If you don't have some extra cash left over after the end of the month you might want to wait until your cash flow situation is a little better and you have saved up some money.  

A different qualifies applicant has two dogs and would pay an extra $50 per month, so that extra income is appealing.  

He didn't pay the water bill when there were people there and then they keep adding to the bills with interest. 

After i put down 20 percent for the purchase at 270 can i take out the extra equity up to 80/20 loan value.

The one specific one sits 40% vacant and we will be adding additional tenants to increase income.

Very frustrating.I'm sure my preconstruction investing days are over unless Ontario starts seeing some changes to protect the buyers.Cosmos condo is another project in Vaughan that was cancelled, deposit returned to buyers, and now builder is putting up a condo literally across the street for approx an extra $100k more on similar sized units.
