I've seen this home on and off of the Hud Home store for a couple of months now.

I heard it was an antique store before it was a funeral home and who knows beyond that.  

It looks like they worked at the tile store, and just grabbed odds and ends.I think they did a house in my area, too.

I came across a convenience store in the hood with attached coin op laundromat in need of all new machines and repairs/updates.  

There are no shortcuts (like "$5000 chunks" or cost per square foot), regardless of what people may tell you.The only shortcut is lots of practice and doing lots of projects on the same types of houses in the same location using the same contractors.When I first started, it would take me hours of putting together a scope of work, hours of talking to contractors and hours of walking the aisles at the big box stores. 

People can do that, but retail stores tend not to.

I tell them that rent is the very first thing that they need to pay out of their paycheck, because without a roof over their heads they don’t have any private place to lay their head, to change their clothes, to take a bath, to go to sleep or any place to STORE THEIR STUFF!
