Ya I grew up in K Falls and own a couple properties there still.

I grew up in Long Island and live in Brooklyn now and the one thing I'll say is it would be very tough to make $30-40k go long enough to find you a decent place and make the numbers work.

I grew up in the midwest and have heard that there is a lot of opportunity for cash flow in the midwest, with OH having several hot spots.

Grew up in West Chester and sad to say Lakota Schools have been on the decline, but people still like the area and Liberty township is getting a lot of attention too. 

I ask because I live in Europe and invest in the town I grew up in (Austin, tx).
