Currently I'm in the process of kick-starting my RE investing path, as I would like to have the freedom that does not typically come with a 9-5 career.

This move seemed like a great foundation to build my investing career.

I have resisted the idea as it's been a chaotic couple of years (marriage, two babies, two moves, both of us changed jobs, he lost his father, etc) and I've just wanted to be on cruise control when it came to our careers.

I am currently in the engineering side of the automotive manufacturing world, but my goal is to pursue real estate investing as a supplemental income and potentially future career.

I'm an actor fresh out of college and want to get involved in real estate investing as a side career so I can focus %100 on my career.

I'm a newbie out of West Michigan, been listening to podcasts, watching webinars & reading the blogs and forums trying to learn as much as possible as I begin my investing career.

Friend or not, Im trusting someone who has closed 100s of deals over a long career over a newbie any day of the week for what will likely be the largest financial transaction of my life. 

I noticed when I was listening to the program I never heard of a guy saying, “hey I’m fifty years old I make about fifty grand a year I live paycheck to paycheck and this is what I did to get started with a positive outcome”Its mostly people who are already making eighty, ninety, hundred thousand dollar job with investments and retirement packages which I was never privy to because of my career choices not complaining I’m just saying that was my choice I live with my choice.

I initially wanted to be a teacher, graduated around 08 so, maybe needless to say, I ended up floating around until I started my current career 6 years ago.

I come here today curious if there’s more I should/can be doing to begin my career.
