If I had to do it all over again, I probably would have stayed in town, gone to a state school and come out with little-to-no student loans, wouldn't have wasted a ton of my folk's money, and if at any point I wanted to quit or failed out, the financial consequences would've been much less severe.Alternatively, pursuing a trade may be more beneficial.

They are looking to make investments into start up businesses that are highly scalable and offer the opportunity to 10x, 30x, or 100x their investment, knowing that any particular investment they make has low odds of doing that (and will likely fail completely)Angel Investors normally have lots of money, and perhaps for a different piece of their investment strategy would make higher risk loans.

In BOTH cases, although both were in CA (but I think it was a federal requirement), I, as the seller had to sign that the deposits would be fully returned, regardless of contingencies and schedules for releasing contingencies, if the FHA loan failed to fund.
