I like to be strategic in setting up the business and tax structures of new ventures and was already familiar with the benefits of being taxed as an S-Corp when high enough earnings are expected.In asking around, most brokers and agents seem to think this is a terrible idea and probably illegal.

It's a very competitive business that requires a ton of knowledge, contacts, infrastructure, marketing & much more....To be successful at it you are going to have to beat out a ton of people & your best shot at doing that will be in the market you know the best & have the most robust set of contacts.....Your home market.

It is robust which is good because I use some custom features that are not part of the default automations that come with the systems.

They have a robust messaging platform that lets you send emails or text messages. 

The housing market here has improved some since 2008 but not as robustly as in other states. 

Our credit card fees are not only 25 percent less than what we were paying through VRBO, but their assistance and track record with charge backs and disputes are much more robust than VRBO.
