Cris' program is very technical and a classic in the industry, apparently it was fairly instrumental early in Joe & Alex's careers  (from real estate investing mastery).

The population is only around 7000 and mostly work in the farm industry.  

Got a call from a lady whose husband owned an Industrial Bldg on 9 acres .

And I had 2 yrs worth of industry knowledge.

I would love to orchestrate some time to meet with investors in the area and get to know more about the industry.

Its up to you.I have watched the industry go from charging a convenience fee for paying online, to now more commonly charging the fee on the methods you don't want them paying and giving away the online payment option.Like everything else, establish your policy then stick to it.

If you're brand new to this industry, I suggest taking time to 1) educate yourself about the different aspects of real estate investing (which I am still doing) and 2) begin networking and connecting with people on here.  

My question is whether or not this is a good project to start out in this industry.  

I have been in the industry for 6 years, so I know a lot about lawns.

I hope I will learn a lot here and meet new people/friends.As a recent transplant to Southern California, from New Jersey, I work in the IT industry currently and am doing some (really basic) real estate investing on the side.
