Just to clarify, I’m trying to start building a real estate rental portfolio.

We have a lot of experience remodeling homes and building new homes but we want to get rid of the middle man.

I love this house and don’t want to lose it, I would like to add houses in the long term and build a portfolio. 

Looking to get more connected with the local investor community on my journey to develop, design, build and hold multifamily properties.

If that number is greater than the purchase price of the house, then I would consider buying the property after looking at other factors (location, condition, neighborhood, zoning, etc).In other words, 6 straight months of rent should pay for the house.
