If it's a certain city where I'm getting a job then I would look closely into the market.

Lots of rehabbers here work day job and go do their work nights and weekends when city inspectors are sleeping.#3 I'm guessing if your friend did it, it was when prices were going up faster. 

They do not do anything you cannot do on your own for cheaper, but they do a good job managing the whole process and keeping it organized. 

I'm looking for some guidance on how to go about doing this since my contractor quoted that the job would take 1-2 weeks and during that time there would be no access to the unit because there isn't enough room to put a temporary stairway while they are building.

Or would you get it as a job for those few months?

Turnkey or nice properties you can get away with holding on getting video.

You will need a stable w-2 job for 3 years if you plan to use a bank.

I have been kicking around the idea of getting my license in New York even though I am not actively looking at real estate in NY or do I really intend to get a job as an agent. 

Would be a nice to have.
