The end buyer could put you on the contract and then pay you release fee or partner buyout fee.

@Joshua D.If it is a "Judicial Tax Sale" and not an extended "Upset Sale" mortgages could be discharged.The gotcha is that only mortgage and lien holders who have received the notice are discharged.

When you count days in attorney review, you do not count weekends or legal holidays and attorney review can be extended if agreed to by both parties.
