My response was:"Persons applying to rent with an emotional support animal will not be denied based on the support animal.

If you don’t want the animal find a reason to deny based on your normal screening criteria.  

I’m not denying there was profit to be had in Newburgh.

In my experience, the lower cost rentals tend to take a bit more abuse than the higher end homes.

Your insurance carrier can look at you not disclosing the additional unit as a breach of contract and deny any coverage even though you are paying for coverage.

At what level of repair/maintenance do you offer as long as tenants do not break with their abuse/neglect?
