My plan with that is to paint all of the walls and fix the garage door which is all that needs to be done and occupy it for 6 mo- 1 year and then rent it out for a year and move back with ma and pa.

I have only flipped 3 houses so far with varying hours dedicated to each...My first flip I ended up doing the interior painting, exterior painting, hardwood flooring and the kitchen tile backsplash and some miscellaneous punch list items.

I can only offer this advice; if you choose to go to work and school at the same time get all your stuff in order. two years of W2's or taxes, (or less if you go with the right agent/lender) a good downpayment, no debt, and if your family has given you investment properties put those in too so you can qualify for more cash.
