@Alyssa SteinruckYou may have some contractors come and see how long it would take to repair the damages, or how long to repair the safety issues and get a better idea of what it will take to fix.If its something they can do in a week or two, you may just offer to put them up in a hotel until the major safety issues are addressed.  

Seasoned and inexperienced contractors, nationwide, are all facing labor shortage.

Is this just a matter of getting a contractor to come walk the property?

Hello BP, I'm working on a mostly cosmetic renovation project here in New Orleans  I was wondering if there are any experience contractors or anyone here that could recommend contractors that they've used successfully in the past.

It's so critical to be as far down the process and even have the property under contract or even purchased by the time 45 days is over. 

Any contractor that you could recommend?

This may have been addressed somewhere else, but i haven't been able to find anything that pertains specifically to contractors.

I picture that I am going to find something I like, do my own research as to an ARV, get a contractor to go look at it with me and wait for them to give me an estimate.
