In a market where it is increasingly difficult to buy real estate, where expenses are going up, and rents are trending flat or downward, what drives you to keep investing in income properties?

We want to keep the momentum rolling into our second property, and want to take on a fix & flip project to try and recoup some of the cash invested into the first house.

One thing to keep in mind if you’re moving into the higher end clientele is they also have higher expectations.  

Just trying to keep my eyes on the long term benefits/costs as well as the short term gain of cash flow etc.

Were it me, I'd start with just a legal-ezee sounding "cease and desist" letter, nicely requesting they adjust their camera on the basis of privacy concerns, and I'd be keeping all documentation in case it escalates.

My question: How could we ever buy another house with our tricky situation, and still keep my current house for rental income?
