Do you run into "unrelated" tenants ordinances in your city where you rent by room?

I know I could drive all over the place and price shop and save money, buy my free time is worth more than the savings- most of the time. 

Purchased new a work horse set that’s pretty basic with no electronic components runs me about $1100.
