Doing things that give you a bad reputation won't ever be a benefit toward a successful business.Not everything is excepted everywhere, do what is customary in your area is my advice. :)

I've heard this from a few different sources I consider reputable so I trust it's true but you you may want to doublecheck.Also, I've been lurking and learning for a while now but wanted to say thanks for giving me a chance to give some helpfuland information instead of just get it (and giving me a reason to finally sign up for an account)

Of course, people say they make 10-14% with a well diversified portfolio of unsecured loans on Prosper or Lending Club, but I haven't looked at this, as I'm partial to collateral.You can lend through a reputable HML company in your area, earning around 10% (they keep the 3-5 points and maybe a 2-3% extra spread on rate to the borrower.)

That still leaves quite a bit of RE, and it has had septic tests run successfully.The turn off was that the town it was in doesn't have the best reputation, what with modest pretty homes mixed in with trailers and trash.

Josh, I'm not a nurse, can just share that St Johns in Longview has a bad reputation, and Salmon Creek in Vancouver has a good one.
