I'm Jaden, and I’m an investor focusing on small multifamily properties in South Central/Southeast NC.

The time has now come that my wife and I are finally ready to pull the trigger on our first property - a residential multi-family in the Milwaukee area.At the same time, I've been experiencing severe burnout and unsustainable amounts of overtime at my day job (60+ hours/wk for months).

Investors are being more cautious and looking for properties that can generate strong rental income right away to help cover the higher financing costs.

Anything too much has larger room for error on your first property since you are new to real estate and learning how to work with contractors and tenants. 

I’d love to hear more about what kind of improvements were made to the property and how long the project took from purchase to sale.

But you need to have some money sitting around in case of emergencies whether personal or for the investment property. 

I’ve been working with a lot of investors who are split between going the fix-and-flip route or holding properties for rental income.

This might be a time you can look into creative financing but once the property changes owners most counties will reevaluate property taxes based on the sale price.
