Their houses and operations are very impressive and Id be very confident in saying you’d have great customer Service with them.That being said, I’d consider them a premium service, and that’s something you have to pay for.

building lots no matter were they are at have a few strategies1. in a fairly desirable area hedge against inflation  tax's usually pretty low not a worry.2. sell on contract to someone who wants to eventually build on it... get monthly cash flow and usually a little premium in pricing.3. sell for cash reinvest.If we are talking about Florida land or lots say in a place like Lehigh acres and an area with no city sewer there are little thousands upon thousands of those lots sitting vacant they are traded at tax sales and by some who buy and resell for installment sale to those who think they want to retire there.. its the land gamewatch the movie Glenn Gary Glenn Ross you will get the idea..

Compare that to the LPMI at a higher interest rate or the standard MI on a loan.If you keep the down at 5% and are doing a conventional loan, you can also look at a split MI. so part of the overall MI premium paid as closing costs and part as a multiplier of your monthly payment.

Scott and Marcus are very knowledgeable - yes it is likely that the subsidized rates that FEMA/NFIP has will go away in the not so near future causing premiums for flood insurance to rise within this program.Though the government option isn't the only option anymore and more "private flood insurance" options are coming online every day.
