What documents do they require, what credit scores do they allow, how do they verify previous rental history, etc.?

It'd require you to rent out the property since it has to be used for business use.

Searching and examining title requires knowledge & experience. 

All electrical work requires a permit.

Now imagine facing a lawsuit because you missed a crucial compliance requirement.

Although a DSCR is lenient on your personal income, they will still require a relatively clean appraisal.

Not illegal, but evidently difficult to comply with the legal provisions required. 

They also need to be able to communicate in the form that you prefer, whether it be phone call, email, text, or online meeting.

(It’s worth the furniture if you want it.)Think of it this way. 1)Lots of cities ar banning STR, o requiring you live in the house while it’s being rented out, or limiting you to a few months.
