Does anyone know of any reliable, general contractors in the Hampton Roads area, specifically Newport News and Hampton? 

Make sure to talk over the septic situation with them.As long as they are on-board then I'd hire an architect and bid it to a few contractors and see if it made financial sense.

Due to the many hands in the pot to finalize everything, what I learned was that there is a need of at least 3 different licensed  contractors, realtors, attorneys, brokers, etc.

His card doesn't indicate if he is licensed in Ohio - but you might at least get a referral that serves that segment of work.  

(potentially large volume of measurements, distances etc.)I was just wondering if there were kitchen cabinet manufacturers, flooring, countertops, large contractors or architects etc who use something more advanced to take measurements. 

Would it be worth me obtaining a license?

I rent to refinery contractors....welders, boilermakers, pipefitters, etc.Some guys find out about my places from the local prostitutes. 

What I need your opinions on is the following situation....2 of the properties I would use his team and be 100% owner, buy and hold.Guru would acquire the property via the auction, get a rehab estimate from vetted contractors and manage the rehab.
