It seems like that size purchase wouldn't make it worth so would love to hear more on that.I did a 1031 exchange here in Chicago, where we built a ground up single family, but then exchanged into a 19 unit building.

You might also want to network with local businesses that may have relocating employees or contractors in need of housing.Local Regulations: Some areas have different rules for mid-term rentals than for long-term or short-term rentals, so make sure you're compliant with local laws.If you're new to mid-term rentals, connecting with investors or property managers already working in this space can be invaluable.

Hostaway's lack of transparency in their pricing makes them pretty hard to recommend to anyone since these types of "custom" pricing schemes are often used as a means of upcharging new customers.

In real estate much more money is made by finding great deals and making great deals.To stick with stocks for a minute, would you be as focused on finding the "hot" location if you could find a way to buy stocks at a 20% discount? 

Lessons learned?

At the time my only issue was their loans appear to be backed by wall st.. so the closing docs were enough to kill not one but two trees and took way more time to sign the  whole package then I like to spend signing closing docs :)  But thier fee's and rates are hard to beat.
