Mostly, they learn all they can while simultaneously SAVING as much deposit as they can, then they buy the best deal they can find that meets their carefully thought out criteria as soon as their Lender allows.If you are intent on starting out as a Wholesaler (as opposed to an actual Investor), then you still need to find deals the same way as good Investors do, then try to get those deals under Contract for even LESS than you would think was a good price for an Investor, then go find those real Investors who will pay the extra, and get them to pay you the difference at closing.
