Are you clear on your investing criteria (or you attention gets distracted by anything that flies nearby and has "real estate investing" attached to it)?

And perhaps monkeys might fly out of my butt.

It may even be they sense in working with you that they are up against a detail oriented, diligent landlord and they know their issues (insert eviction, credit, 12 dogs, etc) would not fly, so they head for the hills (thank your lucky stars!). 

If it's true in the last paragraph of their announcement that they are working to enhance traveler profiles, then it might fly, but for now Airbnb maintains the brunt of my business and my rates at VRBO remain higher.

Hey @Robert Steele I am new to this area, but have spoken to a few folks that tell me getting homes, in general, but especially in Mckinney are flying off the shelf's with people paying well above asking price to get the home.

Listings are flying with 10 to 20 offers within a few days, not enough inventory.

If we can't find the right buyer, we are planning to just do the flip ourselves but it's a little more expensive for us as we would need to fly in our crew or hire locally.We have a great wholeseller in NJ that we have done 10+ JV deals with like this one where we split the assignment, but we are starting from scratch in DFW. 

I am also slowly working on getting my pilot’s license as time allows and hope to eventually build and fly my own plane.

This is not a fly by the seat of the pants business if you want to stay out of court and out of debt.My opinion is that you would be farther ahead and safer to sell now since you have done zero research in advance to prepare to start your business.

Most "deadbeat" contractors;  (1) are fly by night handymen who claim to be contractors; (2) have no money to pursue in litigation.
