I used to swap out cylinders between rentals but then got really paranoid about how an aggressive lawyer could twist that into my negligence if a criminal entered the property with an old key.Now I spend $8 a cylinder to have it rekeyed to a totally new key and throw out the old keys.

I'm actively looking for properties and find a good amount of deals, some I keep, some i'd rather wholesale.

Getting sued happens to land on the very top of my list of least favorite activities.

I say do Both...but I actively trade currency and It's kind of nice not to have to deal with people, banks and properties when you are trading ;D I can do much better than 10% per year trading on my own, but there's +'s and -'s with any investment.But I enjoy doing both so I can't see me giving up one to do the other solely.

I get calls from realtors on active listings asking "is the ss approved yet?"
