Projects take a lot of planning, preparation and mental, physical and financial energy and resources to complete.

Even with what I presume is my "new property" boost combined with COVID craziness, my occupancy over the first 12 months seemed far below what I would have anticipated. 

The other part of this is just mentally accepting that there will be things that you cannot control on properties you do Not have complete Financial control over.

They may live in a 300 sq ft apartment somewhere and have been locked down for so long they are suffering mentally.

I ran it as a VRBO for a couple years and did well, but as my career got more intense I switched to longterm rental.I'm researching adding a detached ADU to the lot to boost my returns.
