First time poster here…I just found the bp site this week after diving into quite a few of the podcasts recently.I am brand new to this area and am in the learning and evaluating phase right now..

I'm only answering based off our experience.

If I knew 10 years ago what I know now about house hacking, I'd be doing it, but we are in a condo building we converted with friends - and our condo is paid off - so we're staying put for the foreseeable future.Thanks for the thoughts on lower cost areas and rehabbing.

one thing you should look at is what are the capital market drivers in the market. in our market housing, mixed use with restaurant and retail, higher density infill, affordable housing, etc. also look at fast track rezoning which is typically for affordable based projects. that's what I'd recommend.

I also learned that Furnished Finders is a great marketing site for mid-term rentals.

I've heard of mentees who started cleaning up construction areas on a flip at the end of each work day or picking up supplies at Home Depot and delivering them to the job site.

While this isn't exactly "real estate," I wanted to see if anyone else is listing motorhomes/RVs/campers for rent on sites like Outdoorsy, and what your experiences have been.
