You're short changing yourself there, it will actually make the deal even better.1-2 percent annually at least.

I also am a college graduate with honors in business that emphasized real estate and my Dad was a commercial broker when I graduated.I was short and to the point with my decision. 

Or, you could do short term rentals on sites like Airbnb or VRBO.

In short, an allotment that gets subtracted from the paycheck before the service member has access to it.
