Good points on triple checking the local ordinances which I will do to dot that "i" but the local economy is highly dependent upon tourism and given its rather remote location there aren't many hotels but there are similar STR businesses in the area. 

You might find a part-time property manager or might do it yourself (even remotely).

I believe it is some sort of govt program where you put down a very low amount, and it's available for buyers in more remote/rural areas.The sellers have now told me they talked to the USDA about it and all I know for now is that the USDA is now going to come and take a look at it to see its current condition.

During these trips we still managed our 7 Self Storage locations remotely from those trips.

the chance you can ONE off find all these folks at a PRICE you need to .. is remote at best.I just cringe at that pod cast and book.. but again personal opinion and i am sure many think i am nuts..

All you need is a property manager (I am not one) and you can run a multi unit remotely. 

There were a few more features like one that saves pics for records/ walk through ect.

I didn't know about google my maps which has some great features to help me track things!
