Hey @Krizzio Washington,My exam was tied very closely to the materials in the course work. 

Around here we have second chance and a company called the "loading dock" that take donated building materials.

Check out the material cost on web sites like Home Depot.

Builders cited rising costs for materials and ongoing shortages of labor and lots.

Note- they purchased their lumber/materials before the cost 2x.  

I am looking for an investor to put up the money for the house and materials and I will do the work on the house.

The seller found a contactor to do a rehab, bought the materials, and the contractor agreed to do the work for $10,000.

FYI, I was a firefighter for 12 years and I just left to pursue being a territory rep for a wholesale building materials company.

What really ties up a property is when a builder takes Bk or dies, having the greatest equity and an unfinished project can really be a problem.In your builds, you should have figured contingencies, price of materials going up, etc. part of that should be about 3% for attorney fees to clear up any issues, not that it will be needed, but reserved for unforseen issues on any job.
