Read Atlas Shrugged, it is essentially a commentary on today's economic and political environment.

I know it is incredibly redundant, but I am tired of taking no for an answer and the guy I'd be working with is motivated.

However, I do think that we have a little more control over our environment than you say at first.

My opinion:Good: your property should hold it's value in an inflationary environment, unlike cashBad: insurance, cost of replacement systems like AC, water heater, tools and materials needed down the line will go up just as much as the cost of food and everything else.

The government role is to create environment that encourage businesses to grow and create job.
