So you may only have the 'conflict of laws' issue when attempting to deal simultaneously in Europe, Middle East, Asia etc. but some multinationals have no problems navigating these barriers.Regarding broker dealers not being able to clear trades, perhaps it might have something to do with the particular transaction?

My recommendation is to always be honest and up front with your seller and buyer, tell them exactly what you are attempting to do and if they still want to move forward, I see nothing wrong with it.
