Apparently there is an advantage to a multimember LLC as far as RI inheritance tax but I am not sure in the end if it is better.

Some people don't want to buy in the high crime areas, Some people want better school districts; etc etc.

You are probably better off getting a new loan, unless the assumable loan is at a really good interest rate.
