I have 2 cities in mind that could fit this type of investment. 

They just dropped the hammer on that market with a slew of regulations designed to stifle that market.My advice for most people is to look south of the city. 

The house has been vacant for a year and a half who knows what else you find (cracked foundation, drugs, look up police acitivity in the area) but if the house gets worse and is condemed by the city for being a hazard to the community he will get basically nothing for it.

I look back and regret the money I pissed away from age 24-30 paying high rent, blowing money to go out in the city, and taking trips that everyone else was just because I saw my friends doing it on facebook.Do not get caught in the trap of thinking you have to do or buy what your friends are doing on facebook! 

From listings, it seems  properties now in Union city/Weehawken are increasing faster than those in Jersey City areas. 

The other companies in the Washington area are Veristone Capital LLC and Rain City. 

That is the first place a city, building department, or code enforcement division looks to confirm such information.  

Our city makes it pretty simple for us.
