If you don't pay, the Landlord has to file with the court, you're served a summons to appear in court, then you have a chance to show up in court and plead your case.

I have to resubmit with the required changes and the surveyor has informed me that a colleague filed a complaint against him with the State Board and he is on probation until it is cleared up and he can't sign-off on surveying work until then.

For example, we’re in the works right now with one property for an out of state investor that has a monthly rental yield of 1%, and the taxes next year on it will cap out at 2% and still be under $2500 total for the year, at $1050 semi annually when the homestead exemption is no longer on file.
