This is doable however my time to find, procure, and renovate rentals is very restricted due to my life on active duty.When looking strictly at the numbers a mortgage provides a better CoCR and a better ROE, but stepping back and looking at more plain facts it seems like leaving the house paid off is the best bet, thoughts?

We brought this up to the agents attention and quickly dismiss it saying the sellers won’t accept to create a hole on the attic, that the house is buy as it is (this was never in the terms to begin with) We offered to pay for the handy man to close the hole afterwards too & nothing. mind you, it’s not a cheap home, it’s not for closure home, seems to be in decent conditions.

@April Birdsong I’m certainly not a contractor or even a handyman but in the properties I’ve looked at it seems that even replacement windows need to be replaced about every 15 years.
