., I know you are a very seasoned lender and I appreciate your advice.It does look like the borrower is going to be able to finish the flip after all, albeit well past our contract due date but I would rather it go this way than have to take the house back and finish it myself.

On the plus side of the vacation rental, if you own it, it also gives you a place to go once in awhile for a short vacation in the off season.
