It's the Plumber, I've come to fix the sink.Go away you're an evil demon who can't come in.And it's the Owner, open this door and let us in sir (or ma'am)--or I will evict you into the street (that's your call, but a threat might get the door opened). No go away evil demons.I have the pass key and we are coming in (if it's allowed by law where you are) (and watch out for bullets or other aggressive behavior--practice safe showing behavior and keep your self between them and the exit door until things calm down--so you can escape more easily). And I'd be uncomfortable with the Tradesmen being in the house without being there to supervise--due to LIES about things being stolen--laptops, big screens, etc..And if they make a huge problem out of this, maybe think about replacing them and then doing the work during the turn.Just my 2 cents.I doubt they are talking to the renters parrot: https://www.youtube.com/watch?

His philosophy was a tenant will move out with little or no notice anyway and not much you can do about it, so might as well put them on month to month....from his side if there is something they are doing he doesn't like....too many people, too many cars, playing loud music and disturbing neighbors, pets they didn't disclose or whatever, he can raise the rent or give notice to move out with 30 days notice since it is month to month.
