I have a fund seeking to make section 8 investments on 4 or fewer unit properties in landlord and tax friendly states such as Nevada, Florida, South Dakota, Utah, and Tennessee. 

I live upstairs and they live in one of the downstairs units.

(Hope to have this resolved by October)ADVANTAGES:*I'm nearly two years into a career as a Property Manager in a larger company (First stint as an Assistant Manager in a 22 building portfolio consisting of Class B to C properties and over 500 units, and was recently promoted to our Luxury, Class A division with 100 units in 2 buildings).

How many units, how big is the damage, any casualties, are other units and common areas affected, do you have contact with the tenants, whats their status etcI understand your frustration, but there is not much you could or should do physically in person anyways.

I am also actively looking for my next primary (likely will be a multifamily still or SFR with ADU or with potential to add ADU) as we have really outgrown our current 2 unit property in Bayho. 

We love it there and have also invested in larger multi-unit/property lots there for development (large lodge, smaller treehouse etc.... 

@Kevin Kim I initially post the ad about the unit and get prospective tenants to fill out my application prior to setting up showings.

We currently sit at 5 properties, with 16 total units.

You'll live in one unit and rent out the rest.
