Portland is a fantastic little city that consistently ranks high in quality of life and quality of food.

***Food for thought: if you want to grow in the future using house hacking and eventually buy a duplex, tri, or quad, you might want to consider starting with a multifamily as your first purchase b/c, when applying in the future for owner occupied loans, you'll have to convince the mortgage company that you will indeed owner occupy and they're skeptical about borrowers that are going from single family houses to multifamily houses.

Hi @Charlie MacPherson,I do not have any experience so take my concerns with a grain of salt.

I called Best Buy, and they had someone come pick it up, and sent us a check for the entire cost of the purchase AND the value of the food that was inside the freezer that went bad as a result. 

Take his comments (and mine) with a grain of salt.

Both options are terrible as far as I'm concerned.Just some food for thought.Oren

People love food, and donuts are cheap. 

I'd suggest he stop burning his food.
