@John RockerWelcome to the site.I would set up keyword alerts for the cities your interested in buying properties in.When other members discuss those areas you will get a notification.With your clearly defined goals and available capital I do not think you will have a very hard time finding qualified real estate agents to work with on this site.Good luck to you. 

I am aware all contractors are busy as can be, but if anyone has recommendation on who I can call before I just start going down the list on google it would be very helpful. 

If you do a Google search you should be able to find a credit reporting source depending on where they are from. 

Hey David, Respectfully I think you should Google your question, I find you learn more when you research it, two I don’t want your source to be me on the topic, and 3 I googled it myself and you will find your answer there quite easily!

Google "stock market vs real estate" if you want to see people compare the pros/cons.  

There are many other choices also. just put it in google and watch all the choice come up.

A google shopping search (mainly home depot) has waaay too many choices that all look the same, so I'm hoping someone with more experience might be able to help me out here.

You can set up a "Keyword Alert" in your profile settings for "Houston" or any other keyword and you will be notified when it is mentioned.
