My thinking is that I can’t sell it now for its full value, given that it’s going to be in the middle of a construction site for most of the next year.

I know that everyone's time is valuable so I would love to take you out for a cup of coffee if you are local to Boston or maybe help you with something else like technology, RE and etc.Thank you in advance  I would pay the $250-$500 to spend an hour on the phone with an attorney - as their advice (Especially if its a $25k or $50k investment) is a drop in the bucket.

There are tons of disadvantages to real estate in an S corp.Also, one main caveat to an S Corp is requiring to pay yourself/shareholders on payroll.

If no one's living there, do you have to foreclose like in a CFD foreclosure state?
