If done correctly successful and wealthy investors understand the importance of a good property manager.

While others have been advising for you to stay for income verses wealth (only you can identify what you believe is wealth), I would encourage you to look wide verses the traditional roles - flipper, RE Broker. 

(in the tenants eyes)Some tenants think that because you're the owner, you're automatically "wealthy" and can afford to cut them some slack.

I've been exploring the idea of helping to procure deals and manage properties for people who are independently wealthy, looking for retirement income, but who don't want the headache of managing or finding properties.

The inquiries from clients have covered the following reasons for this interest (in no particular order):- good schools in Seattle area- close to Vancouver- easy to reach from China- good climate- less expensive than San Francisco- good long-term investmentBellevue is of particular interest and some clients even mentioned specific zip codes that they wanted to focus on.We believe that this interest for Seattle will continue to grow as China and other countries in Asia are still doing well (compared to many other countries) and wealth is being created every day.  

Before I found employment I passionately wanted to find information about how people got wealthy (not rich).  

I am absolutely convinced that the best way to build wealth is a combination of the two methods.

i think this is a "both / and" answer. wealth is built through asset appreciation so I think it's important to hold those blue chip properties.
