If you have proof she was a victim, that justifies you terminating the lease on him based on criminal activity.I don't know enough for a clear answer and you are in a difficult state, so I definitely recommend contacting an attorney.

I'm planning on filing a complaint with the Illinois Attorney General's office, and link up with other investors to explore filing a lawsuit. not sure your in a criminal act here.. from what I followed of this company they were selling fractionalized beneficial interests to investors in Mortgages in Chicago on buildings they were rehabbing..
