I have looked on the site many times but with all of the documents, lingo, etc associated with each property, I do not want to get in over my head with unknowns. 

There are also groups such as the Chicago Creative Investors Association and Chicago REIA where you can meet other investors that are doing investing full time. 

That's why I would only do it if the LTV was good so If I end up with the property I'm still ok after buying it from the first lender and paying the associated fees accrued during the foreclosure process.
