I am hard pressed to think of a industry more stable and recession proof than healthcare.

Back in the late 80s or early 90s when I was in involved farming there was a 'famous' case in our area that made the it into the Farm  Press of "Land Contracts Gone Wrong.

Everything is made cheap, it had 1x2s instead of 1x4s, the floors are press board not real plywood, the walls are secured with staples, there is very little insulation.....the list goes on and on.

Even at 650 you might be hard pressed to find renters.

A private lender would be hard pressed to loan to an 18 year old to begin with, with little to no credit, that resides in a different country, that has no practical experience in renovating a house.  

Send pictures. take a video of problem.. open lid, take more pictures. press Stop. give me a call.

Thing is, that's simply not how the law or Judges work at all, maybe on tv, not in reality. 

You will be hard pressed to find a better return elsewhere in the world.

And I tell them when we sign the lease that (for example) if a pipe bursts and floods the house/apartment I will fix the place up to make it brand new, but I'm not responsible for their big screen tv, their couch or their other stuff.

I would cover basic internet but I don't want to pay for a renters' cable TV or other services.
