Has anyone used that platform and what was your experience with it. 

I discontinued it after one year.What I liked about both platforms was the ability to sync my VRBO calendar to my website calendar, the ability to point repeat guests and other referrals to my website instead of VRBO, the ability to take payments through my website and the automated messaging.

It was on Homeaway, my least-booked platform, so it wasn't as awful as it would have been on Airbnb (SuperHost), but the truth is, I am getting more and more bookings from VRBO/HA.

Also, there is always some risk involved so one has to be ready for it, and that's the reason some chose to be really passive and invest in ETFs, REITs or invest in real estate through a crowdfunding platform.

I was on a team that used Boomtown, I am familiar with the platform.

I am not here to find how to get rich-quick nor do come with the mindset real estates is the platform, but am eager to learn the rope and will do anything( water boy, pick up office lunch) to win over a someone's valuable time.If you are someone in the Queens, NY area and would not mind teaching a new-born fish how to swim would be greatly appreciated. :-)Thanks, All

I have (what I think at least is) a good commercial loan platform that I think would be a great addition to a broker's toolbox. 

The crowdfunding websites, like the one you mentioned, are essentially middle-people that connect passive investors with investment sponsors using an online platform.
